While we do give an estimated timeframe of completion with each detail, please note that these are estimations. We normally have several details a day and some jobs take longer than others. If you need your vehicle back within a certain amount of time, please let us know when scheduling so that we can plan out the day and other jobs accordingly.
We have multiple details a day and starting a detail late pushes back other jobs & customers. If you are 10 minutes late for your appointment, your detail will have to be rescheduled.
If you do not show up for your appointment at all without a phone call, you will not be rescheduled in the future.
We just need as much notice as possible. We do have a waiting list and we can move appointments up if we have enough time to let other customers know.
*As stated in the section below about deposits, the $30 deposit will not be returned for appointments canceled less than 24 hours prior to drop off time.*
If we are detailing the interior of your car, please remove all personal belongings that will prevent anything from being lost/damaged or any harm to come to the detailers. This includes clothes, paperwork, money, trash, toys, weapons & razor blades, jewelry, electrical devices, etc. Please also remove infant/child car seats before your detail. We will not reinstall them to avoid the possibility of it being incorrect. Moore Than Detailing will not be held accountable if anything left in the vehicle is lost or damaged.
We typically do clean inside of glove boxes, center consoles and trunks. If there are personal belongings that were not cleaned out, we will not remove anything so nothing is lost or damaged during the detail.
If the vehicle is in worse condition than we were told, there WILL be an up-charge in price. Excessive pet hair, grass, straw/hay, sand and trash will cause the price of the detail to go up.
When detailing the interior of a vehicle, we shampoo the fabric mats or sanitize/pressure wash rubber mats. If you have rubber mats on the floors but your fabric mats in the trunk, the fabric mats will not be shampooed. Please make sure the fabric mats are inside the vehicle and not in the trunk if you want them shampooed.
With exterior washes of trucks, we normally do not clean the beds. A lot of owners have tools or materials in the back that we will not take the chance of damaging. If you did want your truck bed cleaned during the detail, please make sure to mention this and remove all the items in the bed.
All estimates are free! We highly encourage estimates for larger jobs such as full detail pluses, buffing and ceramic coatings. In-person estimates will allow us to price out each job correctly. While we are at our shop most days, mobile jobs are common and we’re not always there. Please make sure you call ahead of time so we’re able to meet you for all estimates and in-person questions.
Starting November of 2022, a $30.00 deposit must be put down before an appointment can be scheduled. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will not receive a refund on the deposit.
Cash, checks, credit cards, Venmo and Zelle are all appropriate forms of payment for your detail. Please keep in mind that there is a processing fee on all credit card transactions.
